When you close your eyes…. What do you See ?

Something a bit different. And let me explain why.
When pressures mount, and things around you seem insurmountable, I find I try to remove my mind from the world….Close My Eyes…. Take a Deep Breath…and try to let my mind paint a better world.

Now…I am not talking about escaping the problem, or pretending it is not there. I have just found that letting my mind create a scene, an event, brings focus. I try to let my head do the work and add the parts to it’s play, without my influence.

Now before you ask if I take medications for this.
This is a needed excercise, just like sleep, and often the dreams that come during sleeping.
This however is an excercise in letting your mind work and put together a scene.

Ok…this is harder to try to explain than I originally thought it would be. Remember…I don’t script anything, it just has to run out of my fingers has it happens.

Anyway…When I close MY eyes, what do I see.

There is a particular scene that plays, that for at least awhile, is very relaxing and good for my troubled head.

I sit on a hill of beautiful flowers whose colors change as the day goes on. The sound of waves are close, is the background.
My gaze is on a beautiful woman near.
The breeze blows thru her brown silken hair, each strand seems to take on a personality as it moves in the breeze. Her dark eyes show the window into her soul, and the calmness they bring as we connect for what seems like hours.
The scent of her hair, the smell from the ocean are a scent that could never be duplicated. And, without a word, their souls are as one.
It is the peace… the trust…the unmatched feeling of being with the one that …both…where meant to be with.

Ok…A bit heavy maybe, but hey…this the minds scene, not mine.

When you close YOUR eyes, what do you see ?

When you meet someone new, it is quite the task to figure out what is real, what is phony and how much of a ‘LINE’ you are getting.

You are influenced by their gender, race, what they are wearing, how they look overall, or don’t look.
Whether or not they are tall or short, large or little.
It all seems to figure into your opinion, and this is BEFORE they even say a word.

Whoa, then the words that come out.
Bad bull…Good bull, honest… Can You Tell ?

This often leads to you missing that really great person, because of the external factors.
Or…more often, your choice is BECAUSE of the external factors, and you didn’t end up with anything inside.
(Now…in this world, it is amazing how much…BULL…a person will put up with, when the person has the external thing going for them)

I have been lucky, as I am real good at seeing thru the …Crap, uhh facade, no CRAP.

When I used to do interviews, I never looked at a resume, except for the name. The rest serves no purpose at all.
Then the interview..eeee, went into their ‘JOB interview’ person. That tells you even less, except how good they are, or aren’t at dishing it out. I could usually re-direct things to get a glimpse, But I learned more about that person from watching them, before the interview when they didn’t realize, I was the person they were interviewing with.
You would love the looks I got, and how many just turned around and walked out when they saw I was who they were interviewing with.
As they knew, I now knew the real them.

Anyway….

Babies/Toddler and Dogs.
(Maybe that is what I should have named this rattle)

The one true test of a person is …
You guessed it…Babies/Toddlers & Dogs.

They are completely immune to what a person ‘appears’ to be.
They don’t understand the line that is being given to them.
But they have an unreal sense of character as soon as they get around a person.
Watch their movement, they somehow can just sense the inner person, and you know what ?
They are rarely wrong.

That means that all of us have that ability, if we can just not pay any attention to any of the factors meant to fool you.

Cool stuff…
Maybe keeping a good dog with you is a smart move.

Life is very different than the World Created in the Shire of Wrapperville.

The ‘Shire’ was born many years ago from a vision of a truly GREAT lady and designer that may never be able to see how good she really is.

The Shire offered a place away from the Forest of Life, a place to dream, believe, explore & find out about the ‘YOU’ inside.

I love the Shire of Wrapperville, because of this true vision of this wonderful Hobbit.

But the Forest of Life is just to the North of the Shire.
It is scary, confusing and so easy to get lost into. But you must spend your time in the Forest of Life.

I stand every day, almost every hour on the hills in the Shire looking across the valley at the Forest of Life.

Many fine Hobbits have gone there to serve their Quest in the Forest of Life.
Many do not return.

But the ones that do are the strongest, and are FOREVER glorified in the Shire.

To those that are Lost in the Forest of Life, I hope your return is near, and the stories you will tell will be what the Hobbits Legend is about.

For those … LEGENDS of The Shire that have not returned from the Forest of Life.

I miss you… and I will stand on this hill till I see the gleam of your sword, and the sparkle in your eyes because I know you will conquer this as well.

I haven’t been a TV watcher, in fact, I don’t think I ever watched a NEW show, when it was NEW.
I usually caught it once it got syndicated on one of those….OTHER…. Channels.

Such is the case with…. SEINFELD.

Now..
It takes a little watching to GET the characters, but once you have them, this show had some amazing writing. Especially since it was show about…NOTHING.

I have seen these episodes several times, and one thing that I have noticed ?????

Not many days pass by without having a…… SEINFELD MOMENT.
By that I mean something that happens during the coarse of a day, that reminds you of an episode.

Now the bad thing is…. I either:

1. Have to interrupt and re-cant the episode that ‘This MOMENT’ reminds me of.

2. Figure out what happened in the Seinfeld episode, and try to see if I can get the same results.

Now before you find that weird…
If you were a Seinfeld person, and know the episodes…
I know..FOR A FACT… you have done the same thing.
If you don’t know the episodes, you should, as it is just amazing how many times something happens that is just like an episode in that Sit-com.

You know…

Like the Shrinkage one with George and….
Wait a minute, maybe that isn’t the best example here.

So ….

Mel Blanc was the voice behind many loved Cartoon Characters.

These characters are known by us all, and will survive maybe forever.
These characters made us laugh and cry, but there was something in many of these characters that we identify with.

The story behind this song is that Mel played this for a group of friends at a party he was having at his house.

The Song…..is very familiar
The Character….is very familiar

The thing is…
No matter how many times you hear this..
It will ALWAYS make you laugh.

The, other, thing is…
Every one of us has shed a tear when you heard the original song…
As there is ALWAYS someone it will remind you of.

So there you have it…
The song will make you laugh, while shedding a tear for someone missed.

In…LIFE…1 + 1 = One

This simple, perfect, equation is what the perfect addition is… In Life’s Math.

Unfortunately, too many partners in LIFE, end up with the ‘Traditional’ total of…. 1+1=2.
This just means that for whatever reason, they just can’t get to the Perfect addition of Life’s Math.

But..
The most complex Life Math Equation is: 1+1=0
Very confusing.
Without fail, this equation always starts with the first 1/One having a deep trust, admiration and above all, a true friendship.
Without fail, the second 1/One is almost always a perfect fit to the first 1/One. It just works.
But somehow, and usually without ANY explanation or making ANY sense…
The second 1/One fails to exist.

Now how that is possible, is beyond the math of Life.
The true masters of Math of Life can fill blackboards full of…
The Plus’s/The Minus’s
The Good/The Bad
What was right/What was wrong

And that is just the first few blackboards.
You see, the Masters of the Math of Life will continue on well past the point that they know is coming.

After all those blackboards of words and numbers…
The Answer will always be….

= ? ? ?

OR for those that use a computer for equations of the Math of Life…

Well..

I started this Blog awhile back, but became a heartfull stress, and I decided it maybe best to not do it.

It now seems, that my reasons for turning off the ‘Lights’ …may not have mattered….At All.

It may take me some time to try to gear up..again.

And considering my mostly Miserable state, might be a little… ‘Dark’..

So…

I guess the: LIGHTS OF DARKSTAR

I had a few followers, and I hope to see their comments return, with some new ones….

For the earlier ones, there some good ones in there.

I could do much more with this amendment to… Un - SAID.

But, as you will see, it may be best to leave this well short of what needs to be … SAID.
For this I apologize on an incomplete thought, but it may give YOU the ability to SAY IT correctly.

I guess it should be… SAID …
that there may be some exceptions to the Un-SAID rule.

There are times when saying what should be SAID.. may not serve a purpose and can do nothing but make things worse.

There may also be times, when saying what you would like to say, just is not appropriate, or would serve no purpose to yourself, or to the one you want to say it to.

It is hard for me to …SAY this.
But there is a reason for leaving some things…Un-SAID..regardless of what your head says, your heart just knows better………. I Hope.

Now I don’t have an answer on this one, and this may well be one of those vanishing posts…
since it doesn’t have a completion.

Have you ever been just lost inside ?

I mean, you kinda understand what is happening in your world. But you don’t have a clue as to how or why it is happeining, especially the way it is happening. You know something is wrong, you even saw it coming, but didn’t really have the opportunity to try and fix it, or just help, or something.

Then, you get just totally lost inside, you try everything you can think of, but you don’t even know what it is you are trying to fix.
I don’t know where I am going with this, and I just can not see where to go. It is dark, lonely, sad but most of all…..Helpless.

This is the place where I should be able to give you a great rattle on how to deal with this, or at least get a perspective on such a lost feeling.

I don’t have it.

When the day comes, and I hope it is soon, that I am able to stand up and say,…

“Let’s Fix this, I am with you as I always have been ! ”

I will do my best to give you a rattle that may make a difference. But this may be one of those that can only be done by others…as they may be the only one that can take your hand and stand with you.
